Kelly makes World's Training Squad

After two long weekend’s of World Championships trials, Kelly Simm has now been selected into the Great Britain World’s Training Squad, for the upcoming World’s due to be held in Antwerp, Belgium from 30th September – 6th October. Kelly will now train in top company at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, alongside Olympians Rebecca Tunney, Hannah Whelan and Becky Downie, along with Raer Theaker and Ruby Harrold.

Kelly will also take part in an International in the Netherlands next weekend. With another month of hard work ahead, the girl’s will need to show the selectors and National Squad staff their consistency to be selected for the upcoming championships.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Kelly, and gives her the chance to creep up the ranks. “Kelly has all the skill but needs to believe in herself and work ten times as hard to be a reliable team member” said Debbie Richardson, Head Coach at Dynamo.
