Chernobyl children visit Dynamo School of Gymnastics

On Tuesday the 2nd August, the Dynamo school of gymnastics opened its doors to welcome 10 children from Chernobyl.

The 6 girls and 4 boys come from 3 different schools from the surrounding area of the nuclear disaster that happened 30 years ago. The children have come over to Great Britain to help cleanse their bodies of radiation and add years to their life expectancy.

Dynamo couldn’t pass an offer to help these youngsters. The children aged 11 – 12 years couldn’t wait to explore the gym. They bounced on the fast track, swung on the bars, even the odd somersault was performed. They had an amazing time with smiles galore.
